Here’s my disco set from Go BANG!

— *André Lucero (Returns for BANG! #2) | http://www.facebook.com/djandrelucero
A veteran of West Coast underground electronic music culture, André Lucero continues to reinvent himself. From breakdancing in the early 80’s to his present studio efforts, he always kept his focus on beats and sounds of genres to come. Starting with the earliest electro hip-hop, passing through time and space to the present and future of electronic music, his selections are open minded but always have a dancefloor sensibility. The sound: warm, spacey, funky, soulful. Back in Go BANG!’s infancy, André delivered an impassioned Paradise Garage-inspired set which was the perfect example of turntable mastery and body-moving skill. He embraced the concept of Go BANG! with the same joy, creativity, and enthusiasm he shows in all his musical endeavors. It has been a long time coming, having André return to play for his excited Go BANG! dancefloor! —
